How can I help people who are digitally excluded?

Whether you are an organisation or individual, you can help by donating your unused kit.

Local organisations can use the following:

  • Laptops
  • Computer monitors
  • Mice
  • Keyboards
  • Tablets
  • Smartphones
  • Smartspeakers
  • Mobile Wi-Fi Hubs

All equipment should be in working order and have the appropriate power supply.

Equipment will be cleaned, data wiped, tested and redistributed to people and organisations in need, including schools, adults, children and young people.

If you want advice about data wiping a device yourself the National Cyber Security Centre website will help.

Cambridge Online can accept equipment donations at the following times and places

Wednesdays between 10am – 4pm
No need to book, drop off in car park

Cambridge Online
Hester Adrian Centre
Hawthorn Way

If you are not able to get to the drop off location, or if you have a large amount of equipment to donate, please contact us with details of what you have to donate, together with your address and we will be in contact to try and arrange collection.

Thank you for your support, please get in touch if you have any questions.
