Free Virtual Conference, 19th – 21st October
Bookings are open for the Cambridgeshire Digital Partnership’s second free online conference, taking place during Get Online Week. The conference will be especially of interest to voluntary sector groups however everyone with an interest in this topic is welcome.
What is this conference about?
The digital divide is a social issue that has been accelerated by the pandemic and given a more prominent, national profile. As we continue to see people disconnected from their education, communities, and support services due to lack of necessary kit, skills, or internet connection, it is essential that we continue to develop and deliver a joined-up local response.
Cambridgeshire Digital Partnership are hosting their second online conference during Get Online Week, to encourage just that.
The conference will consist of five virtual events, with a line-up of speakers who will explore topics such as the digital skills gap, homelessness and digital exclusion, the correlation between health and access to digital resources, as well as time to reflect on the past year and to consider what’s next. Speakers will include It Takes a City, Cambridge University’s Centre for Housing Research, Cam Sight, and the partnership’s founding organisations.
