Thank you to everyone who attend our April CDP networking event.
Karen Berkley, Commissioner, Cambridgeshire County Council & Peterborough City Council, and colleagues joined us to present and discuss Care Together.
Find out about Care Together and contact via [email protected]
Cambridgeshire Libraries are working towards becoming a national databank. When at this point they will encourage groups to refer to them, so that they can help as many people as possible, groups can hold drop- in sessions within libraries and they encourage groups to get in touch.
Cambridge Ahead are an academic and business partnership organisation. They are trying to understand where local businesses and universities can make a difference within the work that others are doing. Whether it’s supporting things that are already going on, providing resources, device, or training – it’s a big blank slate. They can raise help awareness with employers in the region.
We also heard about Mobilise, a platform aimed at families with unpaid carers.
Piloted for 3 months in Cambridgeshire it generated a significant number of connections between unpaid carers. Also, carers that weren’t necessarily known to health or social care. It is an interesting space, created through digital technology.
