#CambsDigiWeek 2022, watch it again
Thank you to everyone involved in #CambsDigiWeek 2022! We had a inspirational week discussing challenges faced accessing health care when not online or with limited digital confidence, ways that charities can develop digital skills in their workforce and the power of communities to develop skills.

Health Care & Digital Inequality
This event saw us discuss the digital transformation of health care services and how this impacts people who are not online or have limited digital skills.
We were joined by a panel of experts including:
- Graham Lewis, Partnership Development Manager, Healthwatch Cambridgeshire
- Diane Lane, Integrated Neighbourhood Project Manager, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust
- Mark Freeman, CEO of Cambridge CVS
- Frances Dewhurst, Social Prescribing Link Worker, Meridian PCN at Harston Surgery
Together we considered approaches that can and are being taken across sectors, to ensure health inequality isn’t widened as a result of increased use of digital technology.
Developing digital skills in the workplace
This event explored how you might develop your digital skills in your workplace. We heard from expert speakers Zoe Amar and Marlous Lang-Peterse.
This is a recording of Marlous talking about digital leadership in the charity sector, how you can get digital on the board agenda and the resources and support available through Third Sector Lab and The Catalyst.
Zoe Amar is widely regarded as one of the charity sector’s leading digital experts. Zoe is founder and director at Zoe Amar Digital, a social enterprise and digital agency who help charities and other non-profits lead digital change more effectively.
Marlous Lang-Peterse is an experienced senior project manager and arts administrator. Right now, she works with Third Sector Lab and The Catalyst on designing and delivering programmes to promote tech and digital for social good. Currently these are: Open Working and Reuse, Digital Trustees, Service Recipes.
Don’t say Digital
This networking event with speakers Kat Dixon and Phil Priestley explored the power within communities to develop digital skills, by discussing research, sharing projects and celebrating local initiatives. The recording shares the presentation by Phil Priestley as well a discussion amongst the group.
Kat Dixon is Director of Partnerships at national charity Catch22. She builds digital skills and online safety services with forward-thinking tech organisations, like TikTok, Microsoft, Google, Salesforce and others. She recently completed a research fellowship on Internet Poverty with the Data Poverty Lab. She is a Digital Poverty Alliance Ambassador and advisor to the Digital Youth Index.
Phil Priestley is the founder of Cambs Youth Panel, who are leading the way. tackling digital exclusion in Cambridgeshire, developing new and exciting projects that go hand in hand with digital skills.
